Ingredients


Preparation

Bake cake as directed. Mix cream of coconut and Eagle Brand milk together.

As soon as cake is done, punch a lot of holes in cake. Slowly pour cream of coconut/Eagle Brand mixture into holes and all over cake.

Pour pineapple, juice and all, over cake.

Refrigerate until cold.

Mix Cool Whip and shredded coconut together and spread over cake. Keep refrigerated. Must be cold to taste good. Make this the day before you want to eat it. Delicious!

For years my mom and I have made this cake but we never used creame of coconut we always pored the eagle brand milk on cake after punching holes in cake then dole pineapple and juice cooled cake then added cool whip then sprinkled coconuton top then crushed pecans cooled for a day or two and cut squires and served with a cherry on top now that a soooo gooood CAKE.Oh we used a lemon cake mix You should try this ..

I thought this cake was wonderful....I did, however, make the cake part from a Crisco yellow cake recipe. I made it for my birthday and everyone in the family loved it. It was very flavorful! It will definitely be on my favorites list!!
