Ninfa's Green Sauce Ingredients

3 medium Avocados 3 Sprigs Cilantro
3 medium Green Tomatoes 2 medium Jalapeno pepper (green)
4 fresh Tomatillos 1 1/2 Cups Sour Cream low-fat if you must
3 cloves Garlic Salt to Taste

Instructions for Ninfa's Green Sauce

Peel avocados and place them in a blender. In a medium saucepan, boil tomatoes, tomatillos, garlic, and jalapenos for 15 minutes. Remove from sauce pan and place all ingredients in a blender with the avocados. Add sour cream and blend until smooth

Makes 8 (2 oz) servings

You can cut back a bit by using fat-free sour cream but "Momma" will probably come back and haunt you. "Momma Ninfa" is the person who popularized fajitas in the Texas culture. She passed on recently but her legacy lives on. [I posted this recipe.]
