I add a mini smokey link ontop of the cream cheese and wrap with bacon. I find them best when done on the smoker around 225-250 degrees for about 1-11/2 hrs until the bacon is done. I am often asked to bring these to parties.......

These are great!!I had some huge peppers so I put some Colorado Red Chili sauce and a little taco meat under the cream cheese. Awesome!!

We make these all the time, they are great for snacking while waiting for the BBQ to get done. We add a package of taco seasoning to the cream cheese to add some flavor. Can also cook these in the oven, they are awesome. Yummmyyy!!!!

I make these all the time and they're a hit. Here's how you spice them up from the basic ho-hum to yum: to the cream cheese filling add shredded cheddar, some chopped fresh basil, 2 cloves fresh minced garlic, 1 green onion (chopped), pinch salt, 1/4 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes (soft dried, not in oil), dash of cumin, (seeds optional for heat). After you stuff the peppers and wrap them with bacon, glaze them with a little habanero marmalade. You're gonna knock people dead in their tracks with the poppers, guaranteed. Make sure you add the sun dried tomatoes... they add an amazing amount of flavor.

How do you prevent the heat from melting the cream cheese? I can't imagine putting these on a grill and having the cheese remain inside of the pepper. Thanks!

This is much better when some breakfast sausage and cheddar cheese is added, then smoked. You will be amazed at how your ABTs (Atomic Buffalo Turds) came out.

Cream cheese needs some flavoring I think with chili powder or cummin. I liked it though and will build on it.

Ahhhh the great ABT's ! LOVE these. I add shredded cheese to the cream cheese mixture and sprinkle the assembled product with my bbq rub. Very nice.

I have been making these for quite some time now. I add jalepeno jack cheese on top of the cream cheese. Have also added shrimp. Have done them on the grill outside. Cook indirect heat at 225 degrees. Also indoors in a 225 degree oven. Place the jalepenos on a cooling rack placed inside a cookie sheet lined with tin foil.I bake for approx. 4 hours.Move the rack up. Place sweet and sour sauce on top of jalepeno's and broil on low until browned. They are a big hit!!

I love these peppers, I use cream cheese with green chives and onions and put

a piece of chicken tender on it and then wrap it in the bacon, of course I season

the chicken with garlic salt. Never put on grill but sounds great I can't wait to

try it this way.

I do these is our smoker while I've got something larger running. They make a great snack while going out to check on the progress of a 12-hour BBQ Brisket cook.

Starting to get a little cold outside so I did them in the oven. Next time I will fry the bacon a little ahead to get rid of some of the fat and cut down on the smoke in the kitchen. Awesome flavour I will be making these often.
