Combine all seasoning ingredients and spread over the surface of the salmon. Bake (skin-side down) in a 350 F oven for 30 - 40 minutes depending on the thickness of the salmon.

Very tasty. I served this with some wild rice. Will definitely make this again.

did not have the cayenne, but substituted a red pepper/white pepper mix, and use one very large garlic glove (minced along with onions). Also cooked for about 30 min (covered in foil) then broiled about 3 to top off. Served with Broccoli and fresh bread. Very good.

Very spicy! Good when you''re getting a cold. Kinda hot for everyday.

This was really good, but if you have kids, cut the spices by 30%. Also, 20-25min max was just right for the cooking time - 40min would probably be too much.

WOW, i cannot wait to make this, as soon as i get some fresh salmon, this is my next salmon recipe. I can''t wait.

I've made this 3 times over the summer. My wife and 2 kids love it, and they are not the biggest salmon fans to begin with. It's super easy to make, and can make even the most mediocre piece of salmon taste good.

A simple, delicious salmon recipe! I baked for 25 minutes @ 350 degrees (can't imagine baking for any longer). I love garlic, so I used 3 cloves instead of 1. It was a BIG hit - my dinner guest went back for seconds (which always makes a chef feel good). Thanks for the recipe. I can't wait to make it again.

doubled the garlic, did one batch without spice for my loved on who doesn't do spice - still scrumptous!

made two fillets added extra garlic, kept the cayenne out of the recipe until I had coated one fillet, added cayenne for the second - both were outstanding, and one was delicious for the folks in my family who don't like the spice. Accompanied with warm spinach salad with potatoes!

30 minutes is way to long with a 350 degree oven. More like 20 minutes. Since I was feeding my young children I left out the cayanne pepper and it still turned out great. I let it set in the fridge with the spices for about 4 hours before cooking. My 5 year old will hardly ever eat anything, but she LOVED this dish. We served with a fresh salad and corn.

Very tasty and moist salmon. Make sure not to overcook the salmon - closer to 30 minutes would have been better than 40 minutes.

easy to make and tastes great

I liked that it was easy to prepare and the topping gave the salmon a wonderful flavor. I served it with sauteed spinach and couscous. I will increase the quantity of the topping ingredients next time because I would have liked a thicker topping on the salmon, it was that good!

Delicious - would make again. Loved the crispy garlicky crust. I roasted some winter vegetables along with the salmon - carrots and leeks - just because I had them available - superb!

Yes, it is just over a pound and it is a lot for two people - we always have some left over. However, it is very good and since we usually only have green beans or a salad with it, it definitely isn't enough for three :-)

500 grams is about a pound, isn't it? That seems like a lot for two servings. Is this correct?

Would like weight of salmon to be shown in pounds

I did this one on the bbq and it turned out great. My wife found it a little to spicy and I thought it could use a little more cayenne. The nice thing is she could scrape a lot of the spice off and still enjoy the dish. The next time I make this dish I will add extra spice to mine and less to hers. Great salmon dish.

This salmon can also be grilled on the barbecue, but watch for flare-ups!
