Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients

2/3 cup Unsalted butter room temp.	3 cups All purpose flour
2/3 cup Shortening	2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 cup Brown sugar firmly packed	1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Granulated sugar	1 teaspoon Baking soda
2 large Eggs room temp	6 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions for Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat oven to 375 Degrees

Cream sugars, butter and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture. In a separate bowl combine the flour, salt and baking soda, (dry ingredients). Combine the dry ingredients to sugar mixture, slowly.

Add in chocolate chips and mix till well incorporated.

Spoon drop the dough on to an ungreased cookie sheet in about 1 inch balls

Bake in preheated oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
