Chocolate Crunch Brownies Ingredients

1 cup Butter softened1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Sugar 1 jar (7 oz) Marshmallow creme
4 whole Eggs 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
6 tablespoon Baking cocoa 2 cups Semisweet chocolate chips 12 oz.
1 cup All purpose flour 3 cups Rice cereal e.g., Rice Krispies
2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions for Chocolate Crunch Brownies

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Stir in cocoa, flour, vanilla and salt. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 in. baking pan.

Bake at 350 deg. for 25 min. or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool. Spread marshmallow creme over cooled brownies.

In a small saucepan, melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat; stir in the cereal. Spread over marshmallow layer. Chill before cutting. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 3 dozen.

I didn't add the cereal. Without the cereal, the chocolate and peanut butter are a great topping. This is very rich and very good! Thanks for sharing.
