Jim Goode's BBQ Beef Rub Ingredients

2 1/2 tb Dark Brown Shugar 3/4 t Ground coriander
2 tb Paprika 3/4 t Ground savory
2 t Dry mustard 3/4 t Dried thyme
2 t Onion powder 3/4 t Black pepper freshly ground
2 t Garlic powder 3/4 t White pepper
1 1/2 t Dried basil 1/8 t Ground cumin as required
1 t Bay leaf grou Salt to taste

Instructions for Jim Goode's BBQ Beef Rub

1. Prepare the rub: Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Store the mixture in an airtight container for up to four months. There's no need to refrigerate.

2. To use the rub, massage it into the meat thoroughly the night before you plan to grill. Wrap the meat well in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator until grilling time, so that the flavors will be absorbed into the meat.
