Beef Stroganoff Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds Lean beef stewing meat trimmed of fat1 pound Fresh mushrooms
1 Onion chopped10 3/4 ounce Can 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup
1 clove Garlic minced1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Salt 1 cup Fat-free sour cream
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper 1 package Egg noodles cooked

Instructions for Beef Stroganoff

1. Combine all ingredients except sour cream in slow cooker.
2. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
3. Stir in sour cream.
4. Cook on high for a few minutes to heat sour cream.

The recipe is incorrect - it says to put everything other than the sour cream into the crockpot, INCLUDING THE COOKED PASTA. It would probably be fine if you didn't do that, but against my better judgement, I followed the recipe. We ate 1 meal, and threw the rest away - the overcooked noodles were like eating grule. I'd make it again, and cook the noodles seperate! The meat was very tender, and the broth was very tasty
