Sausage, Pasta, and Lentils Ingredients

Olive oil 1 can (19 oz) Green lentils or roma beans
2 cloves Garlic Basil
1/3 cup Onion Oregano
1 1/2 cup Zucchini Italian seasoning
1 can (28 oz) Stewed tomatoes Salt
10 ounce Water Pepper
2 cup Pasta (fusilli is ideal) 3 Sausages (Octoberfest, Italian, etc.)
3/4 cup Red, yellow, or orange pepper

Instructions for Sausage, Pasta, and Lentils

1. Saute a few tablespoons of olive oil with garlic and onion.
2. Add zucchini but don't allow to soften yet.
3. Add can of tomatoes. Do not drain.
4. Add water, pasta, red pepper.
5. Boil and simmer to cook pasta, adding water if necessary.
6. Add lentils, seasonings, sliced sausage. (Sausage should be prepared separately to heat and cook through).
7. Simmer and serve.
