Instructions for Brownie Muffins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 12 muffin cups with liners. Foil liners are best coated with nonstick spray.
Melt the semisweet chocolate chips and the butter together in a large bowl in a microwave at 50% power. Times vary but try 30 seconds and then stir. Another 30 seconds and stir. Keep microwaving for 30 seconds until the butter and chocolate are almost melted. It should not take more than 2 minutes total. Do not overcook. Stir until completely smooth. Let cool slightly.
Whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt into the melted chocolate. Fold in flour until just incorporated. Gently add the 1 Cup of milk chocolate chips and the nuts.
Fill each prepared foil cup with about 1/3 Cup of batter and top each with a heaping teaspoon of milk chocolate chips. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. Serve any time of the day when you crave some chocolate!

These are my favorite chocolate muffins! They are just like they sound...muffins that taste like brownies with pecans. I haven't found a chocolate muffin anywhere that I like better, and I've tried many. I've even stopped buying muffins at my local coffee shop and make these instead. My entire family loves them. Of course they are chocolate on top of chocolate, so those who do not care for packed full of chocolate brownies - Beware!

Just OK, too many eggs, not enough chocolate in the batter.
