Apple Walnut Pie Ingredients

1 pc 9 inch prepared pie crust 1/2 cup honey
FILLING: TOPPING:
4 cups chopped apples 4 tablespoons butter softened
2 tablespoons lemon juice 3 tablespoons flour all-purpose
1 cup walnuts chopped3 tablespoons chopped walnuts
3/4 cup brown sugar 3 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions for Apple Walnut Pie

Preheat oven at 375F for about 8 minutes. Toss chopped apples with lemon juice. Mix together walnuts, brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon powder or nutmeg (optional). Place apples inthe prepared shell. Pour honey evenly over all filling. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 375F for about 35 minutes. For the topping, mix together chopped walnuts, brown sugar, flour and butter. Remove the pie from the oven and top with the topping mix. Bake another 10-15 minutes or until apples are soft and topping is light brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

Well mine didnt look like the pic... and I forgot to put tinfoil over it... but it stil turned out Excellent! mmmm pie!
