Cobbler (Berry, Peach or Apple) Ingredients
1 stick
Butter
melted
2 teaspoon
Baking powder
1 cup
Flour
2 cup Berries sweetened and w/1 tsp
lemon
extract OR
1 cup
Sugar
4 cup
Peach
es sweetened and w/ 1 tsp almond extract OR
1 cup
Milk
1 medium Apples peeled,sliced,chopped w/
brown sugar
,cinnamon
Instructions for Cobbler (Berry, Peach or Apple)
Melt Butter in pyrex 8 x 8 dish. Mix flour,sugar,baking powder,milk togather and pour on top of butter. Do not stir.
Add fruit of your choice; do not stir. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until good and brown.

I made this in a larger pan because I thought that many peaches would overflow the 8x8". It came out looking beautiful but tasted awful! It was chalky with almost no flavor. The inside was pasty and underdone, I think. I used canned peaches in light syrup. Perhaps they do not count as "sweetened?"

Made this today with some fresh peaches I had and it is delicious. So simple and easy, but so good. You might want to double it because it will go in a hurry. Thanks for posting.

My Grandmother taught me this recipe. Although the one she uses has salt added as well, and some of the juice. I Love this recipe!
