Hibachi Style Steak Ingredients

2 ea NY Strip Steak pepper
1 ea portabello mushroom s2 teaspoons sesame oil
salt 2 teaspoons teriyaki sauce

Instructions for Hibachi Style Steak

Broil strip steaks whole until just turned rare (do not overcook). Take out steak and cut into bite size cubes. Mix steak and mushroom pieces with salt, pepper, and teriyaki sauce. In a wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil until hot. Add meat and mushrooms and cook until done to taste.

12/11/04: Seasoned the steak with Emeril's Asian blend and then grilled the steak first. Served w/ zucchini and onions, sweet jasimine rice.

12/10/05: This time seasoned steak with Montreal seasoning, grilled and used plain mushrooms. Also used the flat electric griddle instead of my woks. Seemed to work better so I could cook Sesame Onion & Zucchini sides.

Is that teaspoons or tablespoons? You have two TEAspoons of sesame oil on the list of ingredients, but in the instructions, you say to heat two TABLEspoons of oil in the wok. Which is it?

Works well with ribeye steaks as well. Sliced baby bella mushrooms were the best we have used in this dish so far.
