Joe's Chili Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds Ground beef 3 teaspoons Salt
1 1/2 large Onions chopped1 1/2 teaspoons Sugar
3 cloves Garlic crushed1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cans Whole tomatoes (16 oz. can)3/4 teaspoon Red pepper sauce
1 1/2 cups Celery sliced1 1/2 cans Kidney beans, red 15-oz. cans
3 3/4 tablespoons Chili powder

Instructions for Joe's Chili

Cook and stir hamburger, onion and garlic in 3-quart saucepan until ground beef is light brown; drain.

Stir in tomatoes (with liquid), celery, chili powder, salt, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce.

Heat to boiling; reduce heat.

Cover and simmer 1 hour.

Stir in beans. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.

Simmer uncovered until hot, about 15 minutes. (For thicker chili, continue simmering, stirring occasionally, until desired consistency.)
