Chicken Tortilla Soup Ingredients

1 medium Onion chopped2 cans Chicken broth
1 clove Garlic chopped1 tablespoon Steak sauce
2 tblspoons Oil 1 teaspoon Chili powder
1 can (12 oz) Rotel tomatoes 1 small carton half and half cream
1 can (12 oz) Beef broth 3 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne pepper 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin
2 cooked Chicken breasts shredded

Instructions for Chicken Tortilla Soup

Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add remaining ingredients except tortilla chips and cheese. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 1 hour covered. Add cheese and simmer 10 minutes more. Serve with tortilla chips. You can also sprinkle extra cheese on top.

Very tasty, but also quite rich. I interpreted the "small container" of half and half as a pint, but next time I would use a cup instead. It was a little runny. I would also suggest using either very large chicken breasts or one additional breast.

After the cheese was added it took the zip out of the soup so I added another teaspoon or so of chili powder and cumin. This is a great soup
