This comes from an old Campbell's cookbook and is the best stroganoff recipe I have ever had. It does't separate and can be frozen.

Campbell's Beef Stroganoff Ingredients

1 pound Round steak cut into thin strips1/4 cup Water
1/2 cup Onion chopped1/2 cup Sour cream
2 tablespoon Butter or margarine 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1 can Condensed cream of mushroom soup 1/3 cup Sherry

Instructions for Campbell's Beef Stroganoff

Brown steak and onion in butter. Stir in soup, water, sour cream and paprika. Cover; cook over low heat until meat is tender. Stir often. Just befoe serving, add sherry and simmer for one minute. Serve over noodles.
