1 quart vanilla ice cream or rainbow sherbet softened	2 -3 cups sugar
2 46-oz cans Hawaiian Red punch	2 qts water
1 2-liter bottle ginger ale

Mix all ingredients except ice cream until sugar is dissolved. Add ice cream. Serve.
