This was a little different sounding when I made it, but it was absolutely delicious.

Amalfi Green Beans Ingredients
3 slices
bacon
cut in half
1/2 teaspoon
basil
leaves crushed
2 cups fresh
mushroom
s sliced
1 can (10 1/2 oz) condensed
tomato
soup
1/2 cup
onion
s chopped
1/4 cup Water
1 small clove
garlic
minced
2 packages (9 oz) Frozen Italian green
beans
cooked, drained
Instructions for Amalfi Green Beans
In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove. Brown mushrooms and cook onion with garlic and basil in drippings until tender. Add soup and water.Freeze.
To Serve Now: Add green beans and continue simmering until tender. Remove from heat and toss to mix well. Spoon into a heated serving dish. Serve hot.
To Freeze: Seal sauce in plastic containers or Ziplocs. Label and freeze.
To Thaw: (Stovetop) Thaw at room temperature or under hot water - enough to loosen from container and place in saucepan and heat on top of the stove,add green beans and continue cooking until they are cooked according to pkg directions.
Optional: Garnish with bacon.

I cooked the green beans seperate. I warmed the sauce on the stove and then mixed the drained, cooked green beans. [I posted this recipe.]
