Grandmothers Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredients

1 cup Shortening softened	1 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar	1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Peanut butter	1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
2 each Eggs	1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Brown sugar packed

Instructions for Grandmothers Peanut Butter Cookies

In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the shortening, sugar, peanut butter, eggs and brown sugar.

Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and the salt.
Make "balls" of cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet and place 2 inches apart. Make "crosses" on top of them with a fork.

Bake in a preheated 350 F oven for 12-14 minutes. Turn pan 1/2 way through cooking time.
