I have made this dish a few times and each time I can't believe how much flavor it has. It is a great dish and very fast.

20 Minute Shrimp Creole Ingredients
1 pound
Shrimp
2 cloves
Garlic
minced
1 can (14 oz)
Tomato
es diced, undrained
1 teaspoon
Basil
dried
1 cup Chili sauce Low
Sodium
1 teaspoon
Parsley
dried
1/2 cup
Celery
chopped
1/4 teaspoon
Red pepper
crushed
1 1/2 cup Green
pepper
chopped
1/4 teaspoon
Salt
1/4 cup
Onion
chopped
1 cup Minute
Rice
prepared
Instructions for 20 Minute Shrimp Creole
Spray deep skillet with nonstick spray coating. Preheat pan over high heat. Cook shimp in hot skillet, stirring, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until done. Reduce heat. Add tomatoes and their juice, low sodium chili sauce, green pepper, celery, onion, garlic, basil, parsley, crushed red pepper, and salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve over hot cooked rice or whole wheat pasta.

I would spice this up just a bit with tabasco sauce or alittle more red pepper. Enjoyed this fast meal.

This is perfect for times when Texas Gulf shrimp are on sale here. I use brown rice because it's easier on my diabetes.
