Chocolate Chip Cookies - Matt's Ingredients

1/2 c Shortening	2 each Eggs
1/2 c Butter softened	2 c Flour
3/4 c Sugar	1 ts Baking soda
3/4 c Brown sugar	1 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla	2 c Chocolate chips
1/2 ts Water

Instructions for Chocolate Chip Cookies - Matt's

In large mixing bowl beat shortening, butter, sugars, vanilla, water, and eggs until light and fluffy. In small bowl mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to shortening mixture. Blend in chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
Drop by spoonfuls two inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 F for 8 to 10 minutes. (Do not overcook -- It is best to remove them when they are puffy and not too brown)
Remove from cookie sheet and allow to cool.
