Traditional Fried Chicken Ingredients

6 Chicken breasts boneless, skinless1 capful Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb
2 cups Flour 1 teaspoon Salt
2 cups Milk 1 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 cup Shortening per pan1 pinch Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Season All

Instructions for Traditional Fried Chicken

Rinse chicken in cold water and pat dry with paper towel. Combine flour, season all, Mrs. Dash, salt, pepper, and cinnamon in a bowl with a tight lid, or a plastic storage bag. Shake chicken, 1-2 pieces at a time, in flour mixture. Set chicken on plate and allow to dry for 15 minutes.

Pour milk into a bowl. Dip chicken breasts into milk and then shake in flour mixture again. Melt shortening in a large skillet (or two depending on amount of chicken used) over medium-medium/high heat. Carefully arrange chicken in skillet.

Fry chicken on each side for 7-10 minutes until coating in a deep golden color and chicken is no longer pink in the center. Drain on a wire rack over layered paper towels (This step is very important for crispy chicken!)
