Green Beans With Honey-Pecan Butter Ingredients

1/2 cup Pecans 1/2 teaspoon Course Black Pepper
1/2 cup Butter or margarine softened2 pounds Green Beans trimmed
2 tablespoons Honey

Instructions for Green Beans With Honey-Pecan Butter

The prep is 4 days on this...
Preheat oven to 375'. Place Nuts in 8x8 metal baking pan.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly toasted. Cool completely. Process the pecans until finely ground.
In bowl, with spoon, mix butter with honey, pepper, and ground pecans until blended. Spoon mixture into a 6" long strip across width of sheet of waxed paper. Freeze for 20 minutes until slightly firm. Roll mixture, covered with waxed paper, to make a 6" long log. Wrap well: Regridgerage for 2 days.
In 12" skillet, heat 1/2" of water and green beans, boiling over high heat. Reduce and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until beans are just tender-crisp. Drain; rinse with cold running water to stop cooking. Transfer beans to zip tight plastic bag and refrigerate up to 2 days.
To serve, in a 12" skillet, heat cooked beans with 1/4 pecan over medium heat until butter and beans are hot.
