Posh Pecans Ingredients

18 ounce Pecan halves raw NOT roasted2 tablespoon Dark rum
1/2 cup Butter 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 cup Sugar 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt or salt to taste

Instructions for Posh Pecans

Preheat oven to 300 F. Place pecans on jelly roll pan. Toast 15-20 minutes shaking the pan occasionally to evenly roast nuts. In a small saucepan, heat the remaining ingredients, except salt. Pour sugar mixture over the roasted pecans and stir well to coat. Bake 10-12 minutes or more. Remove from the oven and let them dry on waxed paper. Salt to taste. Store in air tight container.
