Melt In Your Mouth Sausages Ingredients

2 pounds italian sausage sweet mild or hot links or coil1 large onion sliced thin
48 ounces spaghetti sauce 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1 can tomato paste 6 oz1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 large green pepper sliced thin1 cup water

Instructions for Melt In Your Mouth Sausages

Place sausage in skillet; cover with water. Simmer 10 minutes and drain. Meanwhile place remaining ingredients in slow cooker; add drained sausage (if using coil, cut into links). Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Increase temp to high and cook 1 hour more. Serve in buns, or cut sausage into bite size slices and serve over spaghetti. Serves 8.

You can add some bite to this by sprinking in some crushed red pepper flakes.
