Instructions for Garlic Butter Fried Mushrooms
I made this butter up for Garlic Parmesan Toast BO/158735 and found I had some left so cooked garlic mushrooms to accompany a BBQ.
Gently heat olive oil and add salt and crushed garlic, allow to stand and cool, (10 mins) Cream butter and margerine (allow to stand at room temp. before mixing.)
Add olive oil and Italian seasoning to the butter paste and mix to even consistancy. Cool to stiffen in refrigerator.
Italian seasoning is a blend of, oregano, thyme, basil, sage and bay . (Supermarket supplied)
Use 1 tablespoon of butter to a 1/4 lb of mushrooms lightly fry and serve direct to the table.
Try the garlic toast, its a winner.

I altered this recipe quite a bit. But I love garlic and mushrooms. I only used butter and olive oil, about 2 T each and I used black peper and seasoned salt. These are very good.
