Basic Poultry Brine Ingredients
1 pound
Salt
1 1/2 tablespoon
Onion
Powder Optional
12 ounces Dextrose or Honey or White or Light
Brown Sugar
7 ounces Tinted
Curing
Mixture
1 tablespoon
Garlic
Powder Optional
3 gallons Water Warm
Instructions for Basic Poultry Brine
1. Stir together the salt, sweetener, garlic and onion powders, if desired, and TCM. Add the water and stir until the dry ingredients are dissolved. Cool the brine completely.
