Chicken Cha Shao Ingredients

4 each Chicken breast halves, boned and skinned4 tablespoon Hoisin sauce
-- Marinade --1 tablespoon Splenda
1/3 cup Soy sauce - low sodium4 teaspoon Oil
1/3 cup Tofu -- 2 drops Red Food Coloring, optional --
1/3 cup Sherry - pale -- 1 drop Yellow Food Coloring, optional --

Instructions for Chicken Cha Shao

Cut chicken in bite size pieces or leave whole as you choose. Place chicken in sealable bag or container. In a blender or with a whisk combine marinade ingredients and pour over chicken. Turn to coat and seal. Marinate for 2 hours or over night.

Per heat oven to 425. Place chicken on wire rack on cookie sheet on top shelf or oven. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until done, turning over halfway through.

Note: When using bite size chicken it will cook somewhat faster.
