Classic Banana Pie Ingredients

1 Pie Crust 9" Baked And Cooled2 teaspoons Butter
3 teaspoons Cornstarch 1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 2/3 cups Water 3 medium Bananas
1 can Condensed Milk Sweetened1/2 cup Lemon Juice
3 Egg Yolks Beaten1 can Whipped Cream

Instructions for Classic Banana Pie

Over low heat and in a heavy sauce pan, dissolve cornstarch in water.

Stir in condensed milk & egg yolks, constantly stirring, cook until thickened and bubbly.

Remove from heat & add butter & vanilla.

Cool slightly and slice 2 bananas, dip in lemon juice and drain.

Arrange sliced bananas on bottom of pie crust.

Pour filling over bananas, cover and chill for 4 hours or until set.

Top with remaining banana and spread whip cream over top.
