Ingredients

Preparation

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Place fish in a medium-size dish. Whisk together the oil, lime juice, ancho, jalapeno and cilantro, and pour over the fish. Let marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.

Remove the fish from the marinade and place onto a hot grill, flesh side down. Grill the fish for 4 minutes on the first side, then flip for 30 seconds and remove. Let rest for 5 minutes, then flake the fish with a fork.

Place the tortillas on the grill and grill for 20 seconds. Divide the fish among the tortillas and garnish with any or all of the garnishes.

This is a very healthy taco because it's a fish taco. Perfect for those people who wants to get away from fats.

I made these last week two times! It was so good! I used frozen (thawed overnight) halibut and it was delicious! My husband doesn't usually like fish and he ate 2 fish tacos! Also, I made the marinade ahead and took it on a camping trip last weekend. So good and flavorable. Very easy to prepare and would be great for entertaining!

I made these, but I broiled the mahi mahi. The fish cooked well, and the "marinade," which I would consider more of a sauce that I left on it while broiling, was pretty good, too. Unfortunately, the mahi mahi had a lot of bones in it, so it was too difficult to really enjoy. From what I was able to eat, it was very good, and I'd try it again without the fish with bones.

I made this for my dad on father's day and my fish tacos turned out awesome. This was the first time I BBQ fish and I can't wait to make these tacos again. If you like fish tacos you will not be disappointed with this recipe...

This was a fresh and delicious meal which I made for our office lunch club. As we have a few aesbestos mouths there, I doubled the habanero in the salsa, which was very mild as written. I served it with corn with poblanos and cream and spanish rice. Delicious.
