Garlic Basil Popovers Ingredients

2 eggs 1 clove garlic minced
1 cup lowfat milk 1 cup unbleached white flour
1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted3 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese divided
1 teaspoon basil

Instructions for Garlic Basil Popovers


Coat 6 popover cups or muffin cups with butter flavored nonstick spray. Preheat oven to 400F. Whisk together the eggs and milk. Stir in the butter, basil, garlic, flour and 2 tablespoons of the parmesan. Mix together, but don't beat. Pour into cups, filling half way. Top with remaining cheese
Bake for 25 minutes, reduce the oven to 350F and bake for 10-15 minutes longer
