Spinach Dip (by Marianne Stanco Leal) Ingredients

1 teaspoon Olive oil 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 cup Onions chopped1 tablespoon Distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon Garlic minced1 teaspoon Salt
1 box (10 ounces) Frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry1/2 teaspoon Dillweed dried
1/2 cup Sour cream 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper ground
1/3 cup Milk 1 can (8 oz) Water chestnuts drained and chopped

Instructions for Spinach Dip (by Marianne Stanco Leal)

* Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, add onions and garlic and saute' until translucent (about 3 minutes).
* Transfer to a food processor, add remaining ingredients (except water chestnuts), process until almost smooth.
* Remove the processor blade and stir in chestnuts.
* Scrape into a serving bowl and chill at least one hour.

Serve with your choice of raw vegetables.
