Firehouse Turkey Bake Ingredients
4 pounds Turkey wings - or
chicken
wings
2 tablespoons Cajun
Spice
mix - salt free if prefered
1 cup
green bell pepper
- diced (2 med peppers)
2 tablespoons
garlic
powder
2 cups
Celery
- diced (4-6 stalks)
12 ounces
Mushroom
soup - canned, not diluted
2 cups
Onion
- diced (1 large onion)
Instructions for Firehouse Turkey Bake
Preheat Oven to 350 deg F.
Place turkey wings in roasting pan. Sprinkle spices over peppers, onions, and celery. Place vegetables over the turkey and bake, covered, for one hour.
Spoon mushroom soup over the roasting pan. Bake, loosely covered, for an additional 30 minutes until turkey is very tender.
Serve with rice and cornbread. For a "Firehouse batch", double all quantities.
