Ingredients
- 2 lbs Spareribs, bone in pork, about 1/2 a pund per person
- 1 large Saurekraut 28 oz can
- 1 large Yellow Onion peeled and chopped
- 1 cup White Wine
- Water
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
Sprinkle salt and pepper on the ribs.
Put ribs, sauerkraut, chopped onion, and wine into a large sauce pan. Add just enough water to cover the spareribs.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer until the meat falls of the bones, anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours. Remove bones. Add salt and pepper to taste.
