Ma's Egg Custard Pie Ingredients

1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust 1 salt dash
4 Large eggs 2 cups Milk
1 cup Sugar 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg

Instructions for Ma's Egg Custard Pie

Unroll pie shell and place in a pie dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Mix the eggs, sugar, salt, and milk in a mixing bowl until well mixed. Pour into pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean and you have a firm custard type filling.

This was very nice. I think I might use just a bit less sugar next time, as it was very sweet. I made two of these. One was for me, and one for my next door neighbor, and she wiped hers out....... or rather, her son did. They really liked it too. :) Anne
