Cider Chicken Ingredients

1 3 pound Chicken cut up Salt & pepper
1 cup Apple cider 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
1/2 cup Flour 1 Apple cored, sliced
1 teaspoon Ground ginger 2 tablespoon Honey optional
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions for Cider Chicken

Place the chicken pieces in a shallow dish. Pour the cider over. Let chicken stand for at least 1 hour.

Remove the chicken from the cider. Reserve the cider.

Mix the flour, ginger, cinnamon, salt & pepper in a small bowl. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture. Place chicken, skin side up, in a shallow baking dish.

Bake the chicken at 350 for 40 minutes. Meanwhile in a small bowl, combine the reserved cider, brown sugar & apple slices. Pour this mixture over the chicken. Bake at 350 for another 20 minutes. Serve at once.
