Banana Pudding Ingredients

1 each Ripe banana sliced thin3 each Egg yolk
30 each Vanilla wafer cookies divided use2 1/4 cups Milk divided use
1 cup Sugar 2 tablespoon Butter
4 tablespoon Flour 1 teaspoon Vanilla
salt Pinch

Instructions for Banana Pudding

Mix together in a medium sauce pan:
Sugar
Flour
Salt
Egg yolks
Add enough milk to make a paste. Then, add 2 cups of milk and the butter and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until you get a pudding consistancy. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.

Assemble in the bottom of a bowl or 8 x 8 baking dish:
10 cookies on the bottom and about one third of the banana on top of the cookies.
Pour 1/3 of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
Repeat layers two more times and garnish the top with some additonal vanilla wafers, if desired. If you want to add cool whip for a topping, refrigerate until chilled before topping, but this is great served warm without cool whip.
