Quiche Lorraine Ingredients
12 slices
Bacon
fried crisp, and crumbled
1 cup Heavy
cream
1 cup
Swiss Cheese
shredded
3/4 teaspoon
Salt
1/3 cup
Onion
chopped
1/4 teaspoon
Pepper
4
Eggs
1/8 teaspoon
Cayenne
pepper
1 cup Water
Instructions for Quiche Lorraine
Preheat oven to 425F.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in buttered pie plate.
Beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture into pie plate.
Bake, uncovered, in 425F oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 300F. Continue baking until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, about 30 minutes longer.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
