Guest House Cream Cheese Puffs Ingredients

1 tablespoon Finely chopped onions 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise, heaping tablespoon no substitutes
8 ounce Cream cheese softened1 cup Parmesan cheese finely grated
1 ea Egg yolk 8 slices White bread, thin sliced variety If not thin, flatten slice with rolling pin

Instructions for Guest House Cream Cheese Puffs

In food processor, mix first 5 ingredients. Trim crusts off bread and cut each slice into 4 pieces (diagonally, so that you have 4 triangles per slice of bread). Spread filling thickly on triangles and sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese. Refrigerate or freeze.

Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes until toasted on bottom. Serve immediately.

If frozen, do not defrost before baking.

I like to partially toast the bread triangles prior to spreading with filling. You may toast the triangles a day or two before assembling the appetizers. I usally bake the triangles immediately after spreading the filling on them.
