Classic Meatloaf Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds Ground beef or turkey 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cups Quaker Oats uncooked2 teaspoon Garlic minced
1/2 cups Ketchup 1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Egg lighttly beaten1/4 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions for Classic Meatloaf

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mix lightly but thoroughly. Sahpe meatloaf mixture into 10x6-inch loaf on rack of broiler pan.

Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until meatloaf is to medium doneness (160 degrees F, 170 degrees F for turkey), until in center and juices show no pink color. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Cover and refrigerate leftovers promptly and use within 2 days, or wrap airtight and freeze up to 3 months.

I liked this classic recipe. I substitued Italian bread crumbs because I had run out of oats. I also added two tablespoons yellow mustard because thats what I have always done.I made a smaller portion so I had to reduce the cooking time. I would definately make this again.
