Pasta In A Pot Ingredients

2 pounds Ground beef 8 ounces Shell macaroni
2 medium Onions chopped24 ounces Sour cream
1 clove Garlic chopped8 ounces Provolone cheese sliced
14 ounces Spaghetti sauce 8 ounces Mozzarella sliced
1 pound can Stewed tomatos 4 tablespoons Butter
1 pound Mushrooms sliced1 tablespoon Oil

Instructions for Pasta In A Pot

Using a deep sided electric frying pan works well for this recipe
Saute mushrooms in butter. Reserve, including liquid
Brown and drain beef (use oil if very lean).
Add onions and garlic and cook 2 minutes.
Add spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, and mushrooms including juice. Simmer 20 minutes
Cook macaroni, and rinse in cold water.
In the following order, in a deep (3 qt.) casserole (spray interior 1st with PAM for easy cleanup) -
Half the macaroni, half the meat sauce, half the sour cream, all provolone cheese,
balance of macaroni, rest of the meat sauce, rest of sour cream, all mozzarella cheese;
Place on foil lined cookie sheet, and bake uncovered at 350 degrees, 35-40 minutes

The last instructions should read - half macaroni, half meat sauce, half sour cream, all provolone cheese;balance of macaroni; rest of meat sauce, balance of sour cream, all mozzarella cheese;
