Baked Halibut

Use a light hand in seasoning the fillets.

Ingredients


Preparation

Preheat oven to 375F.

Sprinkle both sides of halibut with salt, pepper and paprika.

Place halibut in a buttered shallow baking dish and sprinkle with garlic and parsley.

Place slices of one lemon on fish and add water to about 2/3 of the depth of the fillets.

Bake uncovered 20-30 minutes until halibut is firm and flakes easily with a fork.

Remove from oven, discard lemon slices and water. Dot with butter. Place under broiler until just beginning to brown.

Garnish baked halibut with remaining lemon slices.

Per Serving: 314 Calories; 11g Fat (31.4% calories from fat); 48g Protein; 7g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 88mg Cholesterol; 186mg Sodium.
