Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, place in a 2 quart baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray. In a saucepan, melt 4 T. butter. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and sugar until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Reduce heat, stir in Velveeta until melted. Blend sour cream and cottage cheese together in food processer until creamy, stir into mixture. Pour over macaroni. Sprinkle with cheddar and mazarella cheeses. Melt remaining 2 T. butter and mix with crushed ritz crackers; sprinkle over top. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
