Slice squash lengthwise. Pat dry with paper towel. Brush with olive oil, and sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper. Bring a grill to medium-high heat; turn grill down to medium, and grill for just 2-4 minutes. Move to upper rack to keep warm until ready to serve. Do not start the squash until you're about 8 minutes away from sitting down, though, as overcooked squash can be mushy in texture.
