Grilled Cheese Cutout Sandwiches Ingredients

2 slices dark rye bread 4 slices American cheese
2 slices White bread 2 teaspoons Sweet pickle relish

Instructions for Grilled Cheese Cutout Sandwiches

Use a cookie cutter to cut out a pattern from each bread slice. I used alphabet letters with our granddaughter's initials but any thing that will fit on the slice and for the occasion is fine. Save the cut out portion.

Fit the cut out portion of the light bead into the hole of the dark bread and vice versa. This gives you a contrasting image.

Place two cheese slices and a teaspoon of pickle relish in each sandwich. You can put the two white sides together and the two dark sides together or you can mix-n-match. The filling is also relatively open to your creativity.

Grill sandwiches lightly on an oiled grill and serve.
