Pet Fish Dessert (decoration) Ingredients

1/4 ounce unflavored gelatin - 1 envelope4 small gummi fish - or other gummi creatures
12 ounces Diet Lemon-Lime soda - or non-diet if you wish -- Plastic sandwish bags --

Instructions for Pet Fish Dessert (decoration)

Pour about 2 ounces of cold soda in a bowl and stir in the gelatin. Allow this to "bloom" for at least 5 minutes.

In the meantime heat the one cup of the soda to boiling. I do it in the microwave. Pour the boiling soda into the softengelatin and stir until thoroughly mixed. Set it in the refrigerator to cool. Drink the remaining swallow of soda if you wish.

Place each sandwich bag in a cup with the top open.

When the gelatin is partly set pour some into each bag then slide a couple of fish down the side so they stay upright.
Place the cups in the refrigerator until the gelatin is fully set (at least 1 hour).

Tie the tops of the bag closed with ribbon or yarn. Serve with small plastic spoons and grab your camera.

An "Adult" version of this could be done by adding Tequila and changing to gummi worms or Vodka and gummi fruit. Think of "Jello Shots".
