Tilapia Parmesan

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F.

In buttered 13-by-9-inch baking dish or jellyroll pan, arrange fillets in single layer. Brush with lemon juice.

Bake fish in preheated oven 10 to 20 minutes or just until fish starts to flake.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine cheese, butter, mayonnaise, onions and seasonings. Mix well with fork.

Spread fillets with cheese mixture and bake until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

Baking time will depend on the thickness of the fish you use.

Watch fish closely so that it does not overcook.

This was the best tilapia recipe I have tried yet! I didn't have a lemon so I sprayed the pieces with lemon pam and then cooked them for 20 minutes. I also added a few breadcrumbs to the top after spreading on the cheese mixture.

This recipe is being added to my meal rotation!
