Core Beef, Mushroom, and Barley Soup 6 Points Ingredients

1 pound beef top round cut into 1" cubes, all fat removed1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup pearl barley 1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 14.5 ounce cans beef broth 1 1/2 cups butter beans
3 cups water 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushroom
3 each carrot chopped2 teaspoons minced garlic for braising meat
2 each onion chopped1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 each celery stalk chopped

Instructions for Core Beef, Mushroom, and Barley Soup 6 Points

Crock pot method: Spray pot with non-stick cooking oil. In sauce pan, spray with cooking spray and add 2 teaspoons of minced garlic; braise the top round just to coat. Combine all ingredients in crockpot and cook on high for 1 hour and set to low for 7 hours..
