Barb's Beef and Broccoli Ingredients

2 Tbs oil 1 Tbs sugar
2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 Tbs vinegar
1/2 teaspoon chili paste 1 bunch broccoli in florets
1 pound bite size round steak 1 Tbs cornstarch
1 cup hot water 1/4 cup cold water
1 cube beef bouillon plenty of cooked short-grain rice
3 Tbs soy sauce

Instructions for Barb's Beef and Broccoli

In a very large pot, heat the oil and cook the garlic and chili paste one minute. Add the beef, and stir fry until well browned. Add the hot water, bouillon, soy sauce, suagr, and vinegar. When this boils, add the broccoli. When broccoli turns bright green, add the paste made of cornstarch and cold water. Bring to boil, let sauce thicken slightly. Serve over rice.
