Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 2 pounds Onion thinly sliced
- 2 pounds Stew beef cut into 1 inch chunks
- 1/4 cup Paprika yes this much
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 14 1/2 ounce Beef broth (a soup-can size)
- 8 ounces Sour cream
- 4 cups Buttered hot cooked noodles
Preparation
In 5-qt Dutch oven over medium-hi heat, cook onions in butter until lightly browned. Add meat, paprika, salt, broth. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 1 1/2- 2 hours, until meat is fork tender. Stir in sour cream. Heat through, but do not boil. Serve over noodles.
